What Information Does the Worker Connect Mobile Application Collect and How Is It used?
Caravan Studios collects information via Worker Connect in two ways: (1) directly (for example, when you provide information into the mobile application, and (2) indirectly (for example through mobile analytic technology).

Information provided by you – We may collect and process the following information that you voluntarily provide:
Information that you give us when you sign up for Worker Connect. For example, when you download Worker Connect, you must provide us with your nationality and the language(s) you speak. We will ask you for information about projects you are working on and the name of your employer, in order to report issues and view detailed content related to your project(s); this information is optional (collectively this is “Personal Information”).
Automatically Collected Information – We may collect certain information when you use Worker Connect. This information includes:
Unique notification address. When you download Worker Connect we will register certain information about your installation (for example, a notification address) which may be sent to our technology partner, when you install or uninstall Work Connect; this information is collected and sent to our technology partner for the sole purpose of sending out targeted push notifications.
Sensitive Device Features. Currently, Worker Connect may access the following two features: (i) a camera, to give you the option to scan a QR barcode instead of manually typing a project code; and/or (ii) your external file storage, to give you the options of downloading and viewing PDF documents related to relevant worker welfare information.
Personal information. As discussed, we might collect Personal Information when you are signed in to Worker Connect. Personal Information is information which you provide to us which personally identifies you, such as your nationality and the languages you speak. Personal Information will be stored on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
In general, we use the information we collect from our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them and offer you additional information, opportunities, and functionality. We may use your Personal Information to provide you with updates and relevant content in the mobile application. We will also use this information to analyze issue reports and poll responses, which are shared with third parties that are responsible for monitoring worker conditions and welfare on your project(s).
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated information about our users and information that does not identify any individual without restriction. In addition, we may disclose Personal Information that we collect or you provide:
To our subsidiaries and affiliates;
To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business;
To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of TechSoup Global’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by TechSoup Global or Caravan Studios about Worker Connect users is among the assets transferred;
To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it, for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, or with your consent;
To comply with any court order, law or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including the Worker Connect Terms and Use.
If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Worker Connect, our customers or others.
Your Choices Regarding Your Personal Information
If you wish for us to delete your Personal Information, you can send an email to email@example.com. This will also disable your account and make you unable to use Worker Connect.
You can also stop continued collection of information by uninstalling the mobile application. To uninstall the mobile application you should use the standard uninstall process of your mobile device. However, please note Caravan Studios will retain any previous usage information collected.
Worker Connect is not designed for minors under the age of 13 and we do not intentionally gather Personal Information about visitors who are under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 13, we will delete that information. Neither minors nor any third party individuals are eligible to register for our Services directly and, as discussed herein, TechSoup Global will not collect personally identifiable information about these individuals.
